But now I know that our world is no more permanent than a wave rising on the ocean. Whatever struggles and triumphs, however we may suffer them, all too soon they bleed into a wash, just like watery ink on paper. ( Read more... )

WARDED TO SELFMax Wilkes? I don't believe it for a second. I never took him to be a Death Eater, but I suppose there will always be surprises. How long was he a Death Eater? Why was he a Death Eater?
Max bloody Wilkes. END WARDS
WARDED TO DOMINIC YAXLEYI just read the paper. Are you all right? END WARDS

What bothers me the most about the Order's broadcast tonight is the fact that this speaker seemed to disregard the amount of deaths they have been responsible for. Death Eaters are not the only ones who have been causing deaths. The Order isn't full of saints.

WARDED TO TAMSIN NOTTYou know, sometimes I really wish you had considered me before you ran off and became liberated or whatever it is you've done. You have no idea what it has been like, and it only makes it that much worse when I think of our birthday traditions. Dominic invited me to your party, and I said I'd get back to him, but it just won't be the same, whether I show up or not.
It isn't fair, Tamsin. You haven't made it easy on any of us. END WARDS
WARDED TO CASSIUS TRAVERSHave you got a moment? I really need someone to talk to, and... you seem the most level-headed, of all the people I know. END WARDS

WARDED TO THE PURPLE HATSGood evening, ladies! I just had a question, which I thought I would raise to the whole group, as I was unsure about how to go about asking it. A colleague of mine was interested in the Purple Hats' events and was wondering if it would be a good idea to have some sort of publicity through The Daily Prophet for our charity event. Granted, I haven't told him anything about it, but I thought it would be a good idea to raise awareness, not only through invitations to businesses, but through the paper, as well.
I will see to it that I, personally, write the article, with my colleague around possibly during our next meeting for any photographs and the like. So do let me know about your opinion. Thank you. END WARDS
WARDED TO KIRK MCKINNONYou still want to know about the Purple Hats meeting, don't you? END WARDS
I quite like spring weather, even though it makes me sneeze like mad. It is quite pleasant, unlike winter (too cold!) or summer (too hot!) and the dreary autumn weather only reminds me that we are heading into winter. But right, I'm on several allergy potions right now, which has caused me to become a lot more loopier than I already am. Brilliant.

I'm pretty sure that my neighbours are Scottish (they were quite vocal during/about St. Andrew's Day) so I don't quite fathom why they're just as loud on St. Patrick's Day. Perhaps they're just enthusiastic drunks, who don't quite have an affinity for one culture over the other.
Either way, it's getting a little annoying. I'm almost tempted to walk over there and tell them to shut it (or at the very least, tone down their voices), but then I would practically be assuring them that I've got no plans tonight and I'd like to assume that they think I'm a very social person. Which I usually am -- but something about St. Patrick's Day is off to me. The green-coloured alcoholic beverages do not look appetizing, at all. (No offense, wannabe leprechauns Irish folks.)
WARDED TO EDMUND & HYACINTH NOTTIf you two are not busy tomorrow, I would love to stop by for a little while and give my Mothering Sunday gift to Hyacinth in person and play with Theodore for a little while. Would it be too much trouble? END WARDS
WARDED TO TAMSIN NOTTWill you visit mother with me tomorrow? END WARDS

It's still pretty chilly outside, but I must admit that just knowing that it's March puts me in better spirits. Spring (and warmer weather!) is just around the corner and it's not going to be dreary for much longer. Well, as long as
I've always been a fan of spring - the warm weather, the flowers blooming, a reason to wear all those clothes that have been stowed away for a few months... So can it please be warmer now? Please.

I heard some people had an unfortunate experience with Fontana's cheesecake yesterday. I have to chime in and say that Just Desserts provides a variety of cheesecake that are not only affordable, but are also completely delicious. I've never had a problem from there!
WARDED TO SELFIt's easy to ignore politics. It really is. So that is exactly what I'm going to do from now on. Never talk about politics, and instead focus on other things. I won't bring up last week's incident, and won't talk to anyone that anymore. It really is that simple. I'm very fortunate to have been unharmed, considering how other people were. So if I just keep quiet from now on, I won't be harmed, and I'll have no more reason to worry. END WARDS
